stock ride plate is one of the best for surf, just D-cut it and your good. intake grate, prop, head and exhaust and your set. then you can look into steering and some other higher end stuff down the road
i noticed one of mine started to detach from the hull when i got my hull back from paint, so i power washed the hull really good and dried it out then put 5200 under the plate.
I understand he crashed on a flip and all but what caused the ski to sink? Did he hit bottom or did the ski just take on water from being upside down? I don't know much about stand ups so I'm not sure how this could happen
scary huh? I had a blaster waterbox blow the whole lid off due to a backfire. my stator was going bad and not firing all the time so I think my exhaust had a little fuel in it, then BANG! pretty sure I left more than skid marks
