    BOB Hull question

Thanks for the update. I was thinking of getting some parts while I get the ski running again, and your responses have helped me know all is well with BOB. I'll give them a ring and check out their new website.

    BOB Hull question

I have a Gen2 BOB, and rode it for 2 years (2011-2012). Then work and relocations took me away from water and skiing until now. I'm going through the BOB now to start riding again, and I see hardly anything about BOBs like what I remember seeing in 2019-2012. To be honest, I haven't been on this...

Custom/Hybrid Changeover from an SXR hull to a bob hull

ssmsxr: Without being specific, cuz I honestly do not remember (it was built and completed between 1/11 and 4/11, shipping the motor and bits from WY to CA, and then me driving out to get it back), around $11,500? But I don't know or think it is that price anymore because I was supposedly the...

Custom/Hybrid Changeover from an SXR hull to a bob hull

One more follow up post: When the Ski Clinic was building the ski, they tried different drive shafts until they settled on the one they say is needed. Part of that process was confirming where to set the motor in the hull. As it turned out, (for centralized mass for better rotation) it is...

Custom/Hybrid Changeover from an SXR hull to a bob hull

Icemahn, Sorry, loooooooong post… I think you will be pleased with the switchover to the BOB. The Ski Clinic built my Kawi BOB for me, so I can’t say anything about build experience (I was too busy at the time, I don’t have a good workspace to build a ski at my home, and I felt like having...

Other Jarule died in Jetski accident

This was at the bottom of the webpage linked by OP: about this web site. FAKE... THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! this is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes! Could it be April Fools? I'm...

Other Why Stand-Up PWC's are no longer in production (School Project)

Sorry, long post. But I spent some time researching the whole “no more stand-ups?“ controversy so I could decide if buying another ski (or two) would be worth it. Here is what I know (your results may vary)… SX-R 800, 2011 was last year. Due to emissions requirements, carbureted 2 strokes no...

    Super Jet homemade kenny keepers

I don't mean to sound cross with you engineman44, but for Kenny Keepers I would suggest, as mentioned before, buying the part versus making a set. For two reasons: 1- a portion of the sale could go back to Joe Kenny since they are named after him (I hope he gets something for them!!! to help him...

Surfriding Speed and Style Surf Competition 2013 Daytona Freeride

Thanks, Yamaslut. I got my competitions mixed up (WF no freeride vs surf slam, so on), but I'm glad ego shouldn't be a problem. As I troll through people's posts and their linked videos, I can see a great number of folks who've got some real talent, and talent not based on a PV stroked motors or...

Surfriding Speed and Style Surf Competition 2013 Daytona Freeride

As a armchair freerider in Wyoming, I may be speaking out my exhaust port here but... Everything I read and see about "freeriding" now-a-days seems entirely geared toward air tricks. Blowsion videos, a/m hull builders, boobtube videos, etc. But I think focusing on actual surf riding skills...

SXR Where to put bilge pumpin SXR!!!!!!

All the brackets for sale mount at the same spot: at the stock bilge. Just decide if you want one or two a/m bilges there. Mock up your bilge before riveting/gluing/securing the bilge to the bracket so the bilge tube is aimed the toward your hull and not toward the firewall or your motor.

    Other Like button poll

Then go to Facebook, not here. As a minimal poster, I find reading threads that are without "likes" and "links" and all the other stuff that is on Facebook refreshing. Putting "like" on this forum is irrelevant to what this forum is intended to do: share and exchange ideas on jet skiing. Say...

Other BEKLODR self loading jet ski system... anyone know anything about it?

If Gregory Beck is the same Gregory Beck listed in PWCToday, it appears he was an offshore endurance PWC racer in the 1990's. If that is true, maybe someone here knows him? From there, track down if the loader is still being made?

Other BEKLODR self loading jet ski system... anyone know anything about it?

Found the patent. Gregory Beck in CA invented it (hence the "BEK" in BEKLODR... "Beck Loader"). Back in 1997. I doubt it is still being produced, but the patent is interesting reading. Per the listings of supporting documentation for the patent, it indicated "EZ Tote Enterprises" and "Beaver...

Other (Carb) needle valves and pop off arm springs, how do they correlate to each other?

Mark 44: Maybe I used the wrong terminology. By needle jet, I meant needle valve (part #786-35015-size)... the part that is a component of the regulator portion of the carb under the arm (part# BN38/534). I see that the needle valve is composed of a seat and a viton needle, and I presumed I...
