Thank you, that's very helpful. Have you ever seen/heard of a Waverunner version being used in a WB1? I imagine a little creativity with the exhaust to waterbox hose might work.

So I was able to confirm it's a Kawi pipe by looking at the manifold. But still curious if anyone can shed light on those questions?

Curious if anyone can tell me whether the bottom pipe in the pic is for a Kawi 650 or Yamaha Superjet? Was the sizzler ever made for a 701, or do they just get port matched for 701 use? Was there ever a B1 specific tail cone, or do the 2 seater tail cones work? Thanks!

Can't you just omit the two middle bolts?

Carb could be leaking excess fuel while running causing it to slowly flood until it evaporates after sitting for a while?

Sounds like an exhaust leak, your engine bay slowly builds up with fumes and makes it difficult to run (lacking oxygen). Check your lines and hoses to the waterbox especially. Make sure your tank check valve is orientated correctly (air should flow into the tank)

You have a 62t bottom end, 62t flywheel. You need a 62t stator, 6m6/61x has different static ignition timing. Also, dual 44s at 120/140/2.0 sounds like a lot of fuel for a relatively mild build.

I think you answered your own questions. Address any oil injection issues by deleting it. Pre-mix is not the end of the world and dramatically simplifies the ski. Give the carb a good bath in an ultrasonic cleaner and rebuilt with genuine Mikuni parts. Check leak down and compression and get her...
