Up here in MN I run 125B. I usually run top 5 unless I crash out. But Yeah I would say the top 5-10 guys could easily move up to A. Infact when we do a double drop, we usually catch the slower A riders

Four strokes do really suck to rebuild-very costly. I have gernaded every single bike I have owned along with all my four strokes including two yz250f and a crf 250. Costs alot, but if you maintain them and check valve clearence and throw new rings in every couple months your fine.
