looks to be clean and in good shape. hopefully tapping the head is as easy as he thinks. it has the basic mods you would do yourself. i have a 89 650sx and its a good beginner ski.

the bathrooms arent that bad if worst comes to worst. there are tons of hotels motels on carolina beach avenue north which runs about 2 miles from freeman park. should have a decent amount of people out there!

still runs like crap

the plumbing has the top hose going to the hand primer. on the 2 black hoses, the top one is coming from the tank and the bottom one runs to the fuel pump and then from the pump to the motor...

thought it would be worth a shot to post a picture and maybe someone can see or has been through the same problems. prime it 3 times, start it, full throttle = runs great. let off throttle, it bogs down, wont start up again until you prime it 3 more times.

Yah the fuel pump is external. The diaphragm isnt hard or stiff but ordered a new one anyways. Also got plugs and adjusted the carb. Had to get a new throttle cable as well. Flipped reeds over so they are now seeting at the top. Should know by tonight/ tomorrow how it is running

carb is clean. jets are clean. it's a KeiHin single carb with a 125 main jet and 48 idle jet. not sure if these are the stock jets for the carb? also the low was turned out 1.5 and the high was turned out 2 rotations. the diaphragm looked to be fine, however the circular metal plate was coming...

just picked up the ski about a month ago. Ive been having fuel issues and cant figure out the problem. when its on the trailer, the ski doesnt want to turn over. in the water, however, if you prime it 3 pumps it will start up and go. it will run like this as long as the throttle is about full...
