Good to know my concerns were that with the nose riding higher that you intake would be coming out of the water faster.

On the smaller stock cables that will give more leverage to bend. we have been upgrading to blaster 2 cables because of bending/breaking problems before we did the spacers with our motors. That's why my spacer is located back at the hull

i agree with matt im pretty sure my little race motor will out hit 90% freestyle motors out there

Pvc doesn't work I have tried iit and even ran a aluminum sleeve over the pvc and it still breaks. I have bee selling this as a 2inch kit for about 4yrs with a alum steering cable staper and custun wear ring.

I agree with the sport spec class its the best bang for the buck and the most competitive class there is. You could pick up a used blaster for $1500-2000 or a hx for $1000-1500 and have a good chance of winning.

the sad part is that supplier will claim that there wasnt a problem how old is this problem? and how many sets have cracked?
