I was going to redoing the padding that is currently installed because it is falling apart. I was wondering if I should put footholds or footstraps in while I'm redo it. Are they worth it if I'm not doing anything crazy yet? If they are worth it should I do footholds, footstraps, or both?

Do you still have the 9/15. I have been looking for a used one.

Thanks for the reply and to the sellers defense I don't think he is the one that switched the engine. I think it was the owner before him and he didn't notice considering he told me he had to fix a seal or something because water was getting into the engine.

Ok that's good to know. I am wondering, knowing all of this how much would you pay for the ski? I had offered 3750 for it and he said no, but a week later he changed the listing price to 4000.

I'm also glad that it's a 701. Thanks for the confirmation. It still is a different engine though because as mentioned earlier the 2001 came with duel carbs or could have someone changed the case so it's the same engine but single carb. Also if someone did change the case why might they do it...
