Did you figure out what originally smoked the ground? Have you put a meter on the starter to see if you lost any voltage at starter. Sorry just kind of spitballin ideas Sent from my SM-F916U using Tapatalk

Make sure the motor is aligned properly mine was doing what sounds like the exact same thing until i broke the midshaft. Do the battery or starter cables get hot? Sent from my SM-F916U using Tapatalk

So am tired trying to epoxy fix my case. I have been trying to contact xscream about seeing if they sell finished cases but never here anything back from them. I want to do it right. I'm not sure if there is any problems replacing just the cases by itself or if it needs to match the cylinders...

Well im sure it is due to water getting in i just repaired the case due to a loose stator bolt catching the flywheel. I just pulled the tank and flywheel cover to check the damage found pieces of the weights at the bottom and blew out my epoxy i used to repair the case last time Sent from my...
