Like title says - looking for the two black plastic trim pieces at the back corners of the rail/tray. Must be black not purple.
PM me if you have a set. Interested in paying cash or trade for a set of fiberglass footholds.
I have a good running 2003 66e 800 PV engine. This is a complete ski but the mid shaft carrier or drive shaft splines are stripped. Engine runs strong but impeller and drive shaft not turning. Happened yesterday 7/18 out of the blue. I have too many projects and no time to fix, but thought to...
Let me clarify - I'm talking about the caps on the tray. These are the soft rubber caps that are glued down where you're elbows would go when climbing aboard. I am also keeping the (bondline) rail caps but I got black rivets from mccmaster carr to replace the stock screws that always back out...
I am putting footholds in my '08 superjet. I picked up a roll of black diamond turf and was planning on re-using the stock black rail caps and turfing below them and in the tray.
I have the footholds all glassed in and am ready to turf at this point.
What are you guys using to re-glue...
Greg,
you need to get one from a 1990-1993 model. They changed midshafts in 1994 when they switched to the 701 platform. Buy used OEM; stay away from WSM aftermarkets and the like...
When I had the same pipe on my 61x/61x motor I used factory pipe's jetting recommendations for the 61x case single carb waveblaster and it was almost spot on....

145 Main 1 turn out
120 Pilot 1 1/4 turn out
Stock needle/seat/spring 55 psi
This is why I was so surprised that...
Yeah I am going to give it a go again and drop the main jets to 135's.
What does it being a sit down have to do with it?
Is the 701 blaster a 62T(case)/61x(cyl) or a 62T/62T??
Looking for some help with this.
62t case
61x rec ported cyl
dual oem 38's
stock flame arrestor
stock head
When I looked on factory pipe's web site they recommend the following for the blaster 701 mod pipe...
140 Main 1 1/8
70 Pilot 7/8
Needle/seat/spring - stock (55 psi)...
The low speed adjuster screw threads on the aftermarket mikuni will be different than the oem carb; aside from that I am unsure of the two carbs internals...
The adjuster screw threads for the low speed adjuster are course on the a/m carb, meaning if you set the oem 44 at 1.5 turns out you will...
We were sharing a pair of size 13 neoprene booties. Little big but did the trick.
I would like to pick up a pair of those neoprene socks. Where do you get them? Somewhere like LLBean or REI?
The '08 is a blast. I really like the way it handled and that the pole is -2 already...
