    In my opinion lots of the hate is self preservation. Buy hull "A" and trash hull "B". Hull "A" now has more perceived value on this forum.

    The foothold touches the exhaust and in theory help keep heat off the fiberglass.

    My SJ has been leaning a bit to the right for the last few years. I opened it up last weekend to find the foam is completely dry with no sign of any water or wet foam. What do you think?

    When I broke mine it split in half and a piece was sticking out about an inch around the ankle. I did it in Aug '11 and I am still laid up.

    Check your intake grate/impeller. Could have a stick or some leaves that got sucked up into the pump.
