pulled the starter cleaned it and put dielectric grease on the starter. nothing relay clicks, noticed the ground wire at the battery had a stainless washer on top of it... Problem was the ground wire was not making good contact at the battery and there was corrosion on the ground lug for the...

When i ground the starter with a jumper wire to the starter body it turns over without a problem. Is there some type of paste that is conductive that will work? Doug

I am having a problem keeping a good ground at the starter. This will be the third time in two years that I have to pull the starter sand the face and reinstall. Can I put something conductive on the starter so that when it bolts up to the motor it will have a good ground? Doug
