I see that you're back in "Flipper" mode!
Cool stuff.....
But you have an unfinished job......(training the old guy to flip!)

I got ya, Sunday was a perfect day to work on it. Big waves, nice faces, I even flipped Coreys SJ. Just a fun ride!! Surf looks like crap for Sat.

I'll just have to use your ski then, so I can flip a one footer. haha (and lawnn dart it into rehab) NOT!
Plus it's Easter weekend...I'm off Thurs, Fri, Sat, but gotta work Easter Sunday.

The following weekend is the camp & ride thing. I'll be riding thurs, fri, sat and sun.
Hope you can make that!

looks dialed!
on your reentrys try laying the ski over when you hit the lip, you want the bottom of the hull to hit the curl, it should give you more pop to push you out. also hit it when the wave is just starting to break, the mush doesnt have much power.

On re entry's if you lean the ski over and hit the curling lip it gives you pop and really makes nice re entrys. I was playing on the small white wash with Idok and it's hard to go big or get any pop off the white wash.

The xs1000 hits so hard I'm not even trying to BF, I'm only pulling the throttle 1/4. Haven't been going big lately, just making them look nicer.

Sunday I jumped on Corey's xs Superjet and pulled a big BF.

I was going to big before on my white SJ, Lucas talked some sense into me. You go big like that all the time ur going to get hurt and be out for a while.

Here's a PIC on my SJ, XS846SS ski before I sold it.

What did he say,in english please. Just in case we ever get waves big enough that I can try them again.

Present the bottom of the hull to the face of the breaking wave. Too many people hit a re-entry like any other jump and simply continue the kinetic force towards the backside of the wave. Also, if you compress into the ski at point of impact you can unload and get some pretty damn good height off even small waves. The real trick is to land them nose down and clean with hardly a splash....you're on your own to figure that one out :naughty:

The other mistake I often see with re-rentries is when they are basically a sideways nose stab. You can see this in a lot of vids....just look for someone landing almost backwards instead of nose down and flowing out of the wave.

I could probably dig and find a better pic of you (bigger wave, higher, straight up and down, sunny day, lol), but hopefully this one works enough...looks like you leaned it straight up and down in time!
