i suck too:sad2: i downloaded it twice and it still wont play:banghead:i keep getting Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.:aargh4: i tried renam ing it also

yeah I got that first time Butti. Saki said you have to go in and change the extension on the file (scroll up or in other thread).

and tell him I'm drivin to Auggie tonight so I can see it (jj). U guys are a riot (boris, butti). Did you guys save the file to your puter when downloading or did you select "Open"? I selected open which put it in a temp file. I then went directly into the temp folder and renamed it with wmv ext. Still getting same message taht tells me I do not have all the proper codecs to play the file. So scared I'm gonna lose this file again since it is in temp. How long will it stay there as a temp. Should I/could I move it somewhere to save it, to keep from losing it again? :damnit: :question: :question: :question: :question: :question: :question: :question: :question: :question:

I just downloaded it again (saved to file) and got the same thing.

When media player is opening the file I get "Error downloading codec".
Than it plays just the sound.

Shame as it sounds cool.

afraid to do that Torr (download a third time) because of what Boris is saying...he saved to disk and is still gettin same error I am. It's giving me that codec error msg after it tells me it can't play that ext (wmv).

im pretty sure if borris is getting the codec mesg its because he hasnt updated Win med player to the newest ver,since you have updated to new ver it should play,when i go to play it after downloading it from the same site i uploaded it to,it pops a mesg that win med player doesnt reconize the formate but has a tab to play it anyway,click that tab and it plays,so the problem for most people is probally needing to update to the newest win med player. Geez where is superjett,thought he would of had this uploaded long time ago.

Actually, I did update windows media player and had the latest version.
I just tried to open the file with DIVX and Winamp and got the same results each time.

I don't get the message that "there is a problem and would you like to open anyway".

Maybe it's not player related in my case, I just suck.

I think him and I were having the same problem. Some odd codec that's not letting us convert the file.
