ok went out and checked this morning, binded the coupler all the way to the left. i tryed to move only teh pump pushing and pulling whith the little i could grap onto and dident look like much changed.. did the same thie the engine except i could only grab and wiggle with my fingertips.. so not shure if i was using enouf force, but i did all i could do...
i wound it back up so it set freely and hit the starter agen to bind it.
grabed a flathead driver and used it as a lever, watching both the engine shaft and pump. and it appeared the pump shaft was more freely than the engine...
i checked the prop agen more closley for a rope/stick or someone fingers he may haev ran over... and found nothing.. i stuck my hand up there and the prob spun freely in both directions w/o turning the pump shaft??? thought this was odd... is it normal?
i tryed taking off the intakegrate/rideplate to take a look at the pump... the guy that owned it beforeme must haev used green loctight of thoses allen screws... i couldend get them to budge, i was even hitting the end of the allen with a hammer... and yes i was turning them to the left (coiunter clock wise)...
