Hardrock MX park...

Wolfchild snapped some pics of me riding a couple tracks at Hardrock today... Great times and am learning jump pretty good now... I need to work on corners real bad, but that will come in time... The tracks have minimal doubles and are mostly tables for safety... Thank god, I almost ate it today when my hands flew off the bars on a landing.... I learned how to steer w/ my face though...

It takes a sh*t load of balls to ride that track fast. That water tower jump is hard core if you not right on. It has a lot of good sections that are fast & fun to ride. Its hard on bikes, lots of rocks! (Who would guess that, HARD ROCK). Did you ride that track in the back?

Looks like a fun track! Its gonna be hard for you to ride anything else now. LOL
Your gonna have to get a real MX bike though. Riding tracks on a trail bike is like riding surf on a couch. ;)

this bike will handle any MX track, it's no different than any MX bike except the wide range transmission... I just need my suspension worked to handle a rider of my weight. It's never been setup for me...

I got ya Lee.... You can ride whatever you want out there... he he he

Hey Nick, search Race Tech mx. They have a Spring scale on there website. Get front and rear for your weight, in the begginer rate. The Intermediate would be way to stiff, more for like a A-class racer. You still want your suspension to compress on big hits, or the bike will just beat you up from being to stiff.

You could put the springs on yourself, it will be a night and day difference and a hole lot cheaper then shipping them to a professional.

Up front you can also play with different weight oil to fine tune it even more.

that scale sucks! Especially for KTMs linkless suspension.I told you what spring you need for the rear. $100 from Enduro Engineering. the front.... Give EE a call nobody knows the pumkins like they do.

LOL! I started riding tracks on an RMX. I said the same thing Nick is saying now. I wasted time and money on suspension and setup. T-Bone said, get a real bike. I bought a CR125, and instantly realized anything other than a CR, YZ, KX, RM, or a SX should stick to the trails.
Wasn't long before I was laughing at guys on the track with headlights too. LOL
Photos look great btw Nick! ;)
