I should've mentioned this earlier but figured you would pad those corners... These two scars happened around October last year when my shins hit the back corner of my ski. Both times my shins hit turf and two layers of blue yoga mat on an uncut back corner. I shutter to even think what would happen if your shin hits that edge... The real lesson is don't slip out of the footholds but reducing potential summer ruining events isn't a bad thing.

hmmmm, well i've never slipped out of the holds so we'll see. I think i'll wait for a "close call" :bad3:

ski is lookin good man. you should paint the sides of the hull black then that white turf would pop

i would / was but Jordan's ski has the black bottom. :grumble: haha maybe i'l just do it any way, it would look so gnarrrrrr

hmmmm....

did a couple little things just now, i rigged up my hood, what do you think? i have to have a hose coming from the original hole, other wise too much water would come in during a tailstand like john said a couple pages back...i wrapped the end of the hose in turf, zip tied it, put some silicone on it, and jammed it in. i think thats the easiest way to do that.

i had some more fun with turf, and i ran my start/stop switch through the pole. which is always a pain :grumble:

I know I'm OCD but you need to paint the latch on the hood... Black latch, ugly grey holder on the hood. It's just two bolts.

and i made a steering cable bracket, also stainless, and a pita to drill through
