Missing Motocross!!!!!

at seminole, they run the mx track "open practice" usually all day, they do split up the sx track tho. so, depending on your skill level, and what you feel like riding, if you dont want to risk riding with beginners on the track, you can ride A-B only on the SX track... if you dont mind going around a few beginners, you can ride on the mx track.

i know what you mean about being "in the way". i get that way about the A-B riders. usually, if i hear a 4stroke riding on the revlimiter coming up behind me, i'll just hold my line and slow down a bit.. theyll rail right around you.. no worries.. our tracks are pretty safe and we have EMTs on sight. its all good.

the nice thing about seminole is you always have a choice.

reading is your friend.

:swordfight:

turns is not the only problem when dealing with un-experienced riders....... its the triples and whoops....... let me ask you this than, have you ever banged a turn in 3rd, blown through the whoops, comeing into a turn to only veer around a squid who almost T-bones you in the turn cuz he decides he wants to enter the turn low, ride across the turn and exit high.....

nope, thats never happened to me.

to than click 5th to hit the tripple.......only to be horrifed to see a squid rolling over the landing.....RIGHT INFRONT OF YOU?

nope, never happened to me either. Simple. dont hit a triple if you dont know whats in front of you. what about a downed non-squid PRO rider at the landing of the triple?

have you ever been to the track to only be horrified to see a squid.....RIDING THE TRACK BACKWARDS!?

nope, not at our track. and if youve seen that more than once, youre riding on the wrong track dude, lol. get your stuff organized! that would never fly where we ride, sorry.

ive seen friends leave the track with broken limbs due to a squid

ive seen friends get helicoptered because of their own dam fault too... whats your point?

ive watched my best friend get run over by half the fleet cuz he missed basically killing a squid, fell, and left with a cracked helmet and broked wrist...........

ever see mike alessi crash, get knocked out, and get run over by half the field of Professional riders?????

ive even had a friend whos bestfriend DIED at the track becasuse he hit a jump....the right way....while a SQUID hit the jump the wrong way and the hit eachother in the air............

ive seen A-riders collide with each other in mid-air too. sucks your friend died.

i dont think so...............so please, if you are in-experienced, dont learn to ride on a track, dont tell people to go to the track.........its all fun and games riding a track, infested with squids, untill sombody dies.

great, you have an opinion. thats a good thing!

wow that was a rant.............

agreed.

the point is, when you show up to the track and unload your bike and get geared up, i hope you know youre taking a risk with each lap you take. same goes for any extreme sport including freeriding. if you dont know what youre doing is dangerous and potentially harmful to your health or even, yes, potentially fatal, your family tree may be a straight line.

:dunno:

is it really a secret you can get hurt riding motocross? did you know you can get hurt jet skiing too?

ive almost landed and been landed on by some of the best riders i know. it happens. ive also almost been landed on by retarded posers with superjets and 50 year old couchers with no common sense.

/rant of my own!

wow that looks really good in writing.................you and i both know thats the plan, but its not the deal.

if youre on a track with ONLY other A-B riders, how is that not the deal? explain.

no squids, just you and your fellow class riders.

now, if youre just one of those guys who thinks youre the only guy who should be on the track or noone your pace or slower belongs on the track, then we're just different people with different opininos. i believe that that type of personality doesnt belong on a track that runs "OPEN PRACTICE".

people with that mentality need to rent themselves a private track, a couple of dozers, and have a great time riding at their awesome level by themselves. the track we ride at is meant to be safe and fun for ALL SKILL LEVELS. thats the whole point!

the whole start of this was my post to you saying anyone can ride at a track..............that was it.

ive posted my point and its over. you cant just roll up to a track and "know how to shift gears and keep your balance".........

but hey your mr dirt bike guy so what do i know? i guess nuthin.... i guess having Kyle Lewis as a personal friend or having Kurt Caselli live down the road or 2 friends race supercross on privateer teams .......man what am i talking about?

and im not droping names to be a "cool guy" im droping them to prove a point. i know what im talkin about, i know how it works, im done arguing about motocross on a freeride site.

ive been riding since i was 5....i know the rules, i really dont care to hear your version of it any more, just keep posting your sweet picks of 20 foot butt whips and turns and arguing with wolf child about how stupid trail riding is............... all that is enough to show me what kind of a rider im arguing with.....

i am off my soap box and i am done.:wavey:

yes, i do encourage people to just show up at our track and ride.

if you and your friends are PRO riders, you can ride on private pro tracks, thats great. the track i ride at IS for regular joe's who show up and pay $20 to ride. again, thats the whole point and i stick to it 100%. i really couldnt care less how long youve been riding, it wont change my opinion ive formed in the short 4-5 years ive been riding.

keep that in mind the next time you want to butt in when i tell people to come to the track I ride at every weekend that you know NOTHING about and tell me i'm wrong because you rode a pit bike with training wheels when you were 5 years old your neighbors cousins neighbors friend ahs a friend who races for a privateer team or whatever...

until then, i'll keep posting pics of me doing what i do and messing with the florida guys i ski with, and you can live with looking at them, or not. thats up to you. i ride for fun and with friends who are both faster and slower than me and we all get along just fine. and liek i said, for the guys that cant ride at all, they have their own track altogether.

reading. its whats for dinner.

that's great,so do i, but don't tell Mark44 to come ride a track when he just got a bike a month ago........let him do the right thing and learn in the trails and hills and become an all around good rider so he can have actual fun on the track and not try to ride for his life....not a track whore who can only ride a track called semen hole....

great, talk to me when you've been riding for 16 years.

and tell me i'm wrong because you rode a pit bike with training wheels when you were 5 years old... yeah, its called experience.... and no, no training wheels.

your neighbors cousins neighbors friend ahs a friend who races for a privateer team or whatever... hahaha what?

mr experienced, mark44 can come to the track with me any time he wants. and if he likes it, he can come back again with me the next day. my friends encouraged me.. its what i did, and i'll do the same for others.

i ride all day with other beginners on the track. i dont mind one bit. the people with the "better than you are" attitude, those are the guys that suck.

agreed

your 9 old might be faster than me too.... but i bet youre not. :wiggle:

bring your 36 gallon gas tank, headlights, turn signals, kickstands, horn, tank map, gps, laptop, camel back to the track..... its manicured, predictable, boring, and repetitive, you should be lapping me in no time with your hardcore trail riding awesomeness.
:haha:

i was just wondering, didn't realize you were talking about an 80. i know on a 450 3rd gears good for about 85-90 ft. 4th will cover anything else, and if it takes 5th, don't hit it. lol
