SWEEET motor. Thats super clean. Not sure what kind of compression your running (28cc sounds like it will be high)..... but if its low enough bump the timing up a tad. Really wakes up the small pin. My brothers running 160psi with a 7degree advance and it makes a HUGE difference off the bottom!

Yeah I don't know yet what the compression will be the number's on the w.c. domes are ep 7528 I was told the last two number's are the size feel free to correct me if I am wrong,

I thought you just removed some material on the cases for that .I guess either or huh?
this is the only one I have done however if I had the choice it sure is easier to machine the stator other than the cases and then you just tap the screw holes pretty simple.
OH YEAH and I am officially out of the factory pipe bidding war's good luck to all still in the hunt haha:stups:

Correct, on the last 2 ##'s. I had a 7500 series WC head that came on one of my 650 motors. I think I had 7530's installed, but I never ran the motor to see what the compression was.

I'm set at stock timing now I guess when I know my compression that will tell the story huh

by the way the westcoast head's take a gasket and o-ring's I just got mine from gordy at pacific jet sport's. installed it and ended up with 175 psi compression so in goes the motor I plumbed it for dual cooling

The head I am using is off a 95 sxi, I believe it had 28.2cc domes giving me 170psi with the porting I have, slightly raised exhaust and widened.

yeah I was happy at 175 psi I was reading alot of other stuff but ya know port height's and bores it all changes everything, hell this will be fine on pump gas on stock timing I think. I am wanting to try it like this anyway.

I would like to see a pic of that when you get it back. I may have them do mine since they are sorta close.

I sent my exhaust manifold and FP head pipe to Group K to get bored out. But they are in AZ and I am in AL...
