Take the bumpers off.

That's the same pipe I started with when I put the 701 in.

well after talking to you i wasent as concerned about the b-pipe and found this one on ebay. it should do fine for awhile.

do you happen to remember the jet specs for the pipe?

while you're there grab a handful of those tiny plastic clamps. they work great for holding your turf down through the night so you don't have to worry about any spots lifting up

I used it on a 701 with 61x cases. When I switched to that motor I put the b-pipe in at the same time, so I never used it on 62t cases. I don't think the jetting would change that much. I talked to Paul Lehr when I had that pipe, and he told me to just use the factory pipe specs. 145m/120p, 95g spring, stock N/S. I'm not positive, but I think that carb I sold you is the one I used. I think I ended up going smaller on the main though.

Do a search for threads I started. I asked for help on here when I first got the pipe. I posted the routing for the water lines somewhere too.

im turfing rails

its been raining and cold as hell here the past couple of days so im finally getting to do some turf work. and let me go ahead and say this is my first attempt im sure i will make a mistake here and there and any input you have as i go along is greatly appreciated. right now im waiting for some dap to dry and im taking sluttys advice and drinking a few beers to keep from rushing so i thought id post a few picks while doing so. let me know what i should be doing, so far ive got 3 coats on my turf it really soaked it up and ive put 3 coats on the rail as well it cant hurt and i wanted to make sure everything got covered.

let me know what you think

why didn't you take off your stock rubrail/bumper on the sides?

that what i was asking in the above post if i should or not. i thought i was suppose to leave them on. but anyways after i held up the turf and fitted it it looked to be like it would lay better on the top side the with stock rail on there.
im happy with the way it came out for now

looks like you grabbed a COUPLE handfuls of plastic clamps! looks great for your first time, even though you didn't take my advice and remove the rubber side bumpers  ..let us know how it holds.

i miss understood about the bumpers thats my bad
but i wanted a wide bumper and i figured the bumpers added
a little more maybe 1/8 to it so i guess it will work :fingersx:
is this a respectable job?
