I was trying to figure out how much lighter a superjet would be by replacing stuff like-
1) Replace battery with little dinky battery like I have seen someone do on here
2) Use the x-metal waterbox rather than oem
3) Use watercraft factory hood rather than oem
4) Use a 2-3 gallon gas tank rather than oem
5) all the little tiny things like shortened turnplate, 0 degree xmetal bars, d-cut plate, b-pipe to original pipe weight difference, shortened hand-pole.
I figure you can make it about 20 pounds lighter or more by doing this stuff... anyone try to lighten their ski to the max? worth it in your opinion? or not? I plan on doing some of that stuff anyways.... but the battery and the gastank would be going a little extreme.... what else have you guys done to shed some weight off your skis? I plan on being about 5-10 pounds lighter myself for next riding season, so that will help.
