I have one of the last 24/7 Millenium hoods Chris Maros ever made. This was the hood before the SR-71, same liner though. Mine is fiberglass with cosmetic carbon on the liner.

I've never had an issue with it, zero stress cracks, bulletproof after over 5 years now.

Now I know why.

17.6 lbs! That's more than stock I think.

At least it will never break, ever.

I've always wondered why you put polaris graphics on your sj..Any specific reason?

I was sponsored by a Polaris dealer, and the Octane was not out yet. I painted the ski so I went with Polaris Pro 785 colors along with the oem graphics off a 99 SLX I think. Dealer cost on those was only like $30 total for all 6. The Octane pics were released later that summer and I was pretty close, except it had a black pole and white bottom.

I've just never taken the graphics off because they are oem and pretty much permanent unless I get a rubber wheel which costs $20. I'd rather put the $20 to gas money.
