I have a new PCDIS Y62T (I got it when the Y62T first came out) that I finally got around to installing on my all stock 1994 FX-1. I loaded a setup program of a flat 0° advance with the 115° static angle and 30us delay compensation and a flat 15° in curve #2. When cranking over curve#1 at ~400 rpm the timing light shows 16° advance, swap to curve #2 - no change timing light shows 16°. Reload a new set of curves both set at a flat 0° advance. Test again, both curves show 16° advance with the timing light. Next, I change the static angle to 85° from 115°-no change, timing light still showing 16° advance. So I took everting back apart to verify wiring, everything is wired according to the schematic supplied by Brout. All these tests were done cranking with the starter at ~400 rpm. When I load a different set of timing curves, I can read the ignition, and it shows the changed curves that I had loaded, so it seems like the ignition is working correctly? I had resistor plugs connected and also double checked my Top Dead Center mark on the coupler. Any ideas?
Thanks.
