Years ago. On whiskeytown lake in shasta County. A drunk guy on a boat hit and killed a little girl. My friends sister. Their response was to ban all pwc from the lake. At first they went under the guise of pollution. But once the community pointed out that 1935 outboard boats were running the lake all year long. That got thrown out the window.

It's the fisherman man. They are almost all the same. Most entitled group of jackoffs around. Right on par with golfers for what they think they deserve. They always get their way. And since they all have the same view of jet skiers and put us all in a world of crap. I always ruin fisherman's days when they are near my ride spot. I always suck up their lines if the law allows. I always annoy the absolute poop put of them as the law allows. You can call it being a dick. But that's what it is and what I've experienced with that particular group of hobbyists. I ride the sac river where some world class fishing happes. I guess they think I care about that.

You are not only a Dick, You are a MAJOR part of the problem if you knowingly harass other people using the lake. Congrats on contributing to people hating jetskiiers and wanting to ban our hobby.

You act like I started jet skiing like that. I'm all about respect. Fisherman have NONE. They will NEVER change how they feel about skis. Go look at a Facebook page where a jetski is in the news. Look at all the comments. THey want us in jail. They was us banned everywhere. They are absolutely ignorant to the real world.

You can coddle their balls all you want. It's not going to change anything at all.


STRONGLY debating getting a boat this season. So I can post up at the popular spot up the way. Blasting barbie girl right in the middle of their group. Those douchebags will literally try and section an entire part of the river off cause they wanna fish.

If it wasn't for all the 2-stroke outboard engines which fisherman use, no 2-strokes would be permitted on any waterways period.

Fishermen are the political force which we all benefit from.

Not true. The laws governing the sac river will stand the test of eternity and 2 strokes will always be allowed.

Mead is the fed test bed. Mead banned 2 strokes. It's coming to all lakes in the country eventually.

Notice how all the boats in the video were decked out fishing boats with old crabby ass dudes on them. No way. Not a stereotype at all!

And you're the stereotypical Jet Skiier. How you are not seeing/acknowledging this is beyond comprehension. I live on a lake. We get all sorts of folks recreating on it. Whether it be kayakers, wakeboard boats, pontoon boats, bass boats, jet skis, you name it. We also have bass fishing tournaments one weekend a month. Far and away the most annoying and disrespectful people out there to both other people ON the water and the people that live on the lake are the jet skiiers. I absolutely HATE saying that because I ride all the time and love to, but it gets harder and harder to defend our hobby when half the time I'm out there I want to go out and strangle the people acting like ass clowns on their skis. And if some dbag came intentionally harassing me while I was fishing, they'd end up with a lure stuck in their eyeball.

Trust me. The intent is to get a reaction. And then meet them at the boat launch. Your right. I know what I'm doing. I didn't start this hobby like that. THey poled the bear. I don't really care what happens on your lake. Nor do I care what you think about jet skis or their owners. I used to skate as a kid. And it was the same ignorant bs. Ain't nothing changed to this day. 20 years later. Still getting harassed for trying to enjoy something that doesn't require you to be fat and drunk and sit on your lazy ass while mad others are having more fun than you.

Tons of jet ski riders feel the same way. From experience of being treated like a punk because I paid the same damn reg and fees and work just like them.

Your quite literally. Proving my point. You think because jet skis annoy you. Or you think they are being dangerous or whatever the hell you think. Matters. It doesn't. It's everyone's water. I'm under NO OBLIGATION to appease you or anyone else at all. And the fact that fisherman seem to not understand this. And go OUT OF THEIR WAY to stop jet skis. Means I can do THE SAME THING to them. Wtf

It's been 3 years now since the city of San Diego closed our reservour to water contact. As such, we now have to drive to the desert(80 miles each way for me) to get my fix. San Diego is the 6th largest city in the US, and they can't give us back the one fresh water venue that we had to play on??? It's complete BS! Fishermen have access to 30+ fresh water lakes and reservours here in San Diego county. We have zero. I'm with Sparkplug in my distaste for fishermen in general. I've played this game for a long time. I know how to ride responsibly when in an environment where there are people fishing. And regardless, all too often, I’ll find myself in a confrontation with some drunk retard with a fishing pole in his hand. But, on the whole... they are the most entitled, selfish user groups on the water.

And so now, while I admit that I enjoy being able to take my Hot Tub back out on El Capitan. But, It's not the same as being on my standup. Not even close. I almost tear up when I'm out there , now. It was one of the most special, magical places to JetSki I've ever seen. Fishermen seem split on what to make of the hot tub...half of them give me the stink eye because it sounds like a pissed off Jetski, the other half are completely geeking out over it. "What the hell is that thing?" "Where did you get it?" "Any luck with the fish today?"

No water contact. Means you can sit your fat ass in the boat and cast a line into it.

Also means you can get drunk as hell and run into the dock, your truck, your friends truck, see your sheriff boat buddy, he pats your drunk ass on the back. Then you head home all high and mighty thinking how dangerous jet skis are.

Also. Leave your fish guts. Hooks. Line. And all that other poop at the dock. Not a care in the world. Don't retrieve your lines you snag all over the lake or river either. Entitled pricks. All of them

So what I’m getting is sparkplug really likes anglers. I did have a dude with 2 bobbers fishing for pike on the beach say “It’s alright I was done fishing anyway” to me as I rode into the launch. I replied with “I thought I was heardin’ ‘‘em into ya”. And 20 seconds later he hit one. Another angler pulling his boat at the launch then went over to talk to home boy and left his boat in the middle of the launch just to be a punk. I will agree they have a pissy attitude at times, but I’m pretty sure it’s mostly jealousy.

Never really had an issue with Fisherman. I always ask if they had any luck, We will cut up some. Some dont have much to say and some will carry on conversations. Never hurts to be friendly, does not cost you anything........If I am riding and turn into a cove or slough, if I see someone fishing I go away from them. Its called respecting others.
