Well you just sit on them, and then they go.............

Bbbbboooooooorrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggg!

92 mph with a sports car sounding motor doesnt sound boring to me, at least not for an afternoon.

I'll pull out argument #1 for people riding stock couches. "You can get chicks on the back" I'm pretty sure that ski would out-badass the cigarette boat next to it at the dock.

That speed is possible, no prob on that ski. You should of seen some of the Aussies and the Brits on those big hogs at the World Finals . They smoked all the 2 strokes. It was like a bunch of little bumble bees(2 strokes) following the big 4 stroke. The Brits I talked too at Body Beach wouldnt reveal any top speeds to me or any of my friends that asked, but later that night when they were hammered at Kokomos I got one of the Mechanics to open on and he said he couldnt tell me exact because it was their secret, but he said 90+ MPH no sweat on a good weathered day.
Yes, they sound bad ass, because they are bad ass!(for a couch).

mac's boat (15F), erminio's boat (15F), and les cooks boat (RXP) have all been verified and radar at speeds above 90

:haha: :haha: Yeah, Chicks dig $1600 skis over like 100k boats
I know I saw that too, and was like.. "What???!?!"

besides you can fit more women in 42' than you can on a 2 seater jetski...

So, when is the hydrospace going to be getting a motor like that shoved under its hood?

i have the magellen sport trak color. it works on WAS. I have picked up 10 sats at once. I have a screen that shows the sats you are receiving signals from. I have only found one place mine does not receive signal and that is in the hill country west of austin, tx, in my father in laws house way out in the country. But I only get like four sats down in that area.

No mine does not work in my house and does not work in my car unless it is on the dash. It sometimes gets poor reading duct taped to the glove box lid since the bars and your body get in the way of the signal. Is it broken? Its been that way since day one and I bought it brand new.It is the same model the guy is using. Garmen E-Trex.

Im not trying to rain on anyones parade. I know those speed are obtainable on the RXP but just not convinced that GPS reading is accurate.

you are correct with the boat in it being more badass and being able to fit more people in it, but what i think he meant was that it is badass when a 10K jetski can outrun a 100K boat in terms of top speed. i could be wrong with that statement, but in terms of shear speed, a 92mph RXP is more badass than a boat that runs 92 and costs 100K.... but that is jsut my opinion

well, all exceptions given, but your average donzi doesnt look or sound as good as that ski. Besides, a ski forces you to get up close  92mph is faster then most...

Ok, I admit it was stupid.

Dude, the 2 boats you just pulled have more money invested than the State of Rhode Island...

I was referring to the boat on the trailer you posted.

92mph is well over 100k anyways, unless you're running a smaller hull or bought an older boat.

And no, I know for a fact that the yellow penis isn't about speed. If he wanted a fast boat he would have bought a cat.

Performance boats were my first love.. Please don't make me get into it...

I was simply stating that if you were going to spend the $250K that that boat is worth you posted, you'd be an idiot to buy a Fountain.

Of course, since my knowledge of powerboats is limited, I have to defer to your judgement on the matter.

Not starting anything here either...

Yes Fountain has WON Several APBA titles in several classes for many years... No questions abotu that. Yes they probabaly have the fastest boat going.. But these boats arn't able to be owned by anyone. Throttle man on the fastest V bottom is Reggie Fountain (founder/owner) etc... Crazy story.

Just wanted to put my opinion out there though, that as a consumer boat, dollar for dollar, in "OFF TH LOT" condition you will find much better offerings with faster hulls, better power options, and nicer fit and finish than Fountain.

They are overpriced for the performance you get.

Want to really drool.

www.offshoreonly.com - classifieds.

My favourite brands are:

Nortech - (probabaly the best overall package, not cheap),
MTI - (big cats, fast, pricey),
Donzi - (the 38ZR only, tried tested and true, fast hull, good looks),
Dragon - (ridiculous styling & hull speed on reliable power [stock 525's])
Spectre - (used they are affordable, they are also fast, outboard options too)
Skater - (fast, expensive, I personally don't like them)
Hustler - (good looks, beautiful 34' Cheetah though, like that boat best of all...)
Velocity - cheap option for those who want performance and can sacrifice a bit of styling, reliable, fast hulled boats though

Just browse the classifieds. I always said that if I ever made it big, I'd much rather dump $250K into a boat than a Ferrari. The 39' Dragon makes my pants feel funny... Beautiful boat.

i didn't originally posted the boat on the trailer i jsut copied it, if you want to go fast you can do it in a fountain it will jsut coat you a boat load of money, you can run fast in an outerlimitis, nor-tec, pantera, sonic, hustler, powerplay, cigarette.... and be relatively cheaper than the fountain

hell you can run a bare bones Poker run with twin merc 1050sci and cross into the triple digit territory with ease, but the boat only serves one purpose, to go fast..... same with the RXP.... it was built with one purpose in mind.... to go fast

it will just cost you a boat load of money

That's the truth! Those offshore powerboats have millions invested in them, and I mean millions. If you want to go fast cheap, then you need an inshore powerboat. My brother used to race them in the UK. They're freaking awesome - push down on the foot throttle and the surface prop spins for a bit doing nothing, but when it bites you get pinned to your seat right up to 100 mph! I've never seen the end of a lake coming at me so fast. Hitting about 4 g's on a turn is also a fun experience....
