I wear them barefoot...Make sure they have a rubber bottem it seems to grip real good, some of the shoes have a leather bottem

Any asics wrestling shoes work good, and so do converse chuck taylors(they are my lifting shoes for squats and deadlifts).

Barefooted in shoes isn't bad, but you could also do neoprene socks for comfort and warmth!!!!!!!

yeah, they come in diferent sizes. all the way from anklets to 1/4 shin height

Same here. I wear neoprene socks with my size 11 asics. I normally wear a size 11-11.5 and I also heard that I should buy them big. I took a risk and bought size 11's and they fit great even with neosocks.

You just want to make sure they have a all rubber bottom. There are Asics with patches of rubber and leather around the edges like that black one in the pic. When the leather get wet and after a few uses it gets slimy,slick and dangerous. MAKE SURE IT HAS A FULL RUBBER BOTTOM!
