Looking great, you should look into getting a lanyard adapter so the ski dies when you fall off. Or better yet, the best advice I can give is NEVER let go.

x100 on the whole not letting go thing. For flatwater there are very few situations in which your ski should get away. More gas=more stability. Youll find out pretty quick you can ride out some pretty sketchy stuff if you just hit the throttle harder and hold on

I started a couple years ago on a 550 and the next year bought my fx1. I love riding now, so relaxing when you want it to be or just plain fun when you want that.
The initial learning curve isnt too bad but it never goes away! You will always be trying to learn something new each time you ride.

same, wow was it hard took me a while to get used to it. My SN is much easier

Thats cause superjets are boats!
After being used to me 550 and fx1 i jumped on a RN and SN and was quite surprised. Stable definitely, but not nearly as fun

Fun video... I really dig the paint, I know its similar to that other ski, but I dig the poop out of it.

The other option beyond the lanyard is dialing your idle back so the ski dies without you giving it throttle. You don't want to go too far, just to where it barely runs and then dies. Just a option.

All that debris where you were launching from made me nervous for you! Especially since your learning and may not be able to avoid it. Sucking one of those sticks into your intake would be no bueno.

LOL at the 550/FX1 comment from Shadow. You'll get comforatable on that 750 and then try to ride one of those two skis. It'll be like starting over again almost. My favorite description of riding a JS hull; "its like riding a bar of soap"

But yeah, cool video, cool jeep. You have a lot of fun ahead of you.

More throttle is great, until you try to peg the throttle to reach max speed in a straight line, it will start to chine walk and toss you to one side (did this once and somehow during the fall the back of my foot hit the handlebars.....) straight and fast=bad, slight turn and fast=not so bad.
