Nice write up. Im ready to buy an Edge and am debating a FS over an FR, you said you would goto an FS to save the 11 lbs? Anything you would have done differently other than that?

Does the ski come with the mounting hardware for the steering cable to Hull insert or did you have to purchase that separately?

Because I mainly ride flat water that is why I would go with the FS. There are a few guys where that have been hammering their 2015 Edge FS's in surf. But if FR is available now or much quicker than FS, I would get an FS. The FS's are basically special order only.

I have the rear on currently, not ridden flat water jet with them off. Plan to this spring. As far as Front? Jim Hill has front on his Edge. He rides surf all the time.

This is going to be a flatwater ski, an option is to install front sponsons.
