I cut up the hull a bit to get the footholds in place and after making them line up with the back, I realized that they don't "fit" at all. Granted these are used but I couldn't imagine my ski is that much different from any other SJ. I think if I bent/flexed the footholds, I could make them sit flush with the back edge of the ski but that still puts them quite a bit higher than the rest of the tray. Even then, they still stick up over top of the rail. I must be missing something significant...:thinking:

Looks like you are trying to mount them on a SN...believe the XFT's are designed for a RN...looks like you are going to have to make them fit.

youll prob have to shave the gunwhales to the angle of a roundnose to make it work.

Ahhh didn't realize the RN and SN top deck rails had different angles. That makes more sense.
