Huge Holes = Breather Tubes
Small ones = Extra bolts for support or whatever...I used them for hood straps

Hurrr....that never occured to me. I just know I count six (?) bolts on my round vs 4 on my square.

I never stopped to think that the stock RN has only four.

I'm pretty sure they have to be drilled. maybe yours was pre drilled ins oem weird way to fix his bracket....like a third nipple on your face that lactates
