WTF!!! Did The Side Moulding on My SJ Shrink???

Ok, so I took the side moulding off my superjet last year and I left them in my warehouse. They were never exposed to water after I took them off but they went through a summer and winter. However, the temps in the warehouse were never very extreme. Maybe 50 in the winter and 80 degrees in the summer months. Do these suckers shrink? I tried to reinstall yesterday and after the second or third hole, the holes dont line up anymore. I am goin crazy here, nothing fits perfectly! Anybody have a solution for this problem? I was thinking about mounting the first part up by the nose of the ski with one screw and lightly heating it up with a torch and stretching it out. Think that will work?

Leave em off and turf the rails .. screw those rails to your trailer bunks. it makes sliding your skis on and off soooo much easier

Ok, I put the frst bolt in and I heated the trim with a torch. I pulled on the trim from the rear of the ski and it worked. I got all the holes to line up. I would have turfed the rails but I dont have any for the sides. This will have to do for now I guess. HaHa, when I get a trailer I will turf the rails and screw the old rails to the bunk. Right now, the ski will just have to ride in the bed of my truck.

I see you got them on so its all good, but just an FYI for the future they do shrink. In the past when I've removed mine I had to leave them in the sun until about midday before I could re-installed them.
