Worth getting Milled?

I have to replace a head gasket and wondering while its off if i should go have the head milled. I know its a pretty easy way to get more compression but was wondering what you guys thought of it. I currently have the ocean pro swirl head. Also, how much would you mill it? thanks

well depending on your compression i wouldn't raise the compression over 180psi so you can stay pump gas friendly.

And don't just bring it to your local machine shop. Find someone that does this kindas tuff for a living.

Maybe look for a cheap a/m head instead of getting it milled

how much do places charge to have a head milled??? Its got to be alot cheaper than buying aftermarket and it still serves the same purpose right?
what are reasons you wouldnt get a head shaved down?

50 bucks and I would shave a stock head after I check squish.
