I believe not, because Yamaha fuel caps are male and the Kawi caps are female.
The other week I put fuel in my Waveblaster and forgot to put the cap on(no chain) and it fell off on the highway somewhere. I noticed it when i got to the lake and a buddy had a spare Kawi gas cap and they where complete opposites and obviously it didnt fit.

it will work if you put a yami fuel filler neck on it.

thats what i did on the superchicken. the older kawi caps always crack.
