hey guys wondering if anyone knew if aftermarket gp1300 sleves will fit in a 66e cylinder . i know 1200 sleevs are the same size as the 66e but you can only bore out to 84mm so i was thinking if 1300 sleves fit , they are starting at 84mm so you could bore bigger ???

na I dont have the bucks to chase up 1300 cylinders i was just curious if the 1300 sleves would fit diamitor wise, and if the ports are the same or close enough then port it and how many sizes up can i take the 1300 sleeves ??

The 60T non-PV cylinders have lower port timing more suited for a 66e freestyle engine.

I wouldn't recommend boring the cylinders and re-plating them because it just doesn't hold up as well as the original coating.

By the time you have the cylinders bored to accept the sleeves, buy the sleeves and pay to have them installed you could have bought a set of used 1300 cylinders, you would still be stuck with cast iron sleeves that do not transfer heat as well as the nikasil cylinders JMHO.
