I don't particularly care for Facebook either. I only check mine when I get an email alert for something interesting. I STILL read the X every day. I'm working on some good videos that should be fairly entertaining. I've been riding a lot too! We have been blessed with some outrageously good surf lately. Ever since that Sandbar formed here in Oceanside at our local break, its been so good we've been riding almost every day.

I'd say it might have something to do with the new web site format compared to the older which was easer to use and looked better IMO.

I'm on here mulitple times every day. I thought there would be more traffic/ discussion during the winter but I agree with the OP, its slow.

I'm starting a build as soon as everyone in my house can get over being sick. All the parts are in the garage, just gotta start on it. I heart the X.

The x is as busy as ever.
"lurking" has become as cool as riding. Don't worry. It's a fad. Just like pop-rocks, mullet hair-do's and CB radio's.

I must confess; the members/former members that you speak of surely did add some spice to the forum. I don't know them personally, but was entertained more when they were here.
