Which Carb Setup to use

I have recently big bored to 83mm and ported my 61x/62t 701 and was looking for a few opinions on which carb setup to run outta that two systems I have. I have a stock crank, TBM Fly, 33cc ADA, FP Limited Chamber,

Setup is either the,

Dual Full Spec 49mm with the boysen Manifold

or

Single Riva Powerbomb 48mm with Moto 3 Reeds

When the ski wasnt ported the riva 48 gave it better snap but I would like to use the dual 49mm's

Whadda you guys thinks?

I'm not a big fan of putting singles on 62T cases.
Saying that, the dual Full Spec 49s maybe a little much for your set up, but you can make them work just fine with the right jetting/pop-off/tuning... Those are nice carbs and if you ever go bigger, you'll be set up.
A pair of aftermarket dual 44's(Full Spec, Brapjack, Novi) would be a good call for your current ski and its mods.

44's are enough for your set up,but get the 46's for when you go to a bigger bore motor,,,,btw 33cc domes on a 83mm bore should be pretty high compression, are u running pump gas on that set up ?

Like what SUPERJET-113 said, I always run duals as they are a much better setup but the Full Spec 49's can be a little bit of a challenge for your 735cc engine. Do you know what your compression is now? I get about 205-psi with 34cc domes on my 82mm bore ported cylinder.
Save some money up and get a E.P.I.C. cdi (if you want a charging system) if you have the late style TBM it woud really make your engine come alive with the Full Spec's!
If the cylinder is a little aggressive on the porting, this EPIC cdi, 49's and tuning in the pump setup will net you some healthy gains! It will be no comparison to a single carb set up.

We ride at ~2000' above sea level so the 33cc gave me around 185psi on the stock bore. Not sure on the new #s, my engine is still down south getting worked over. I have been lurking around the EPIC thread for a while, that unit sounds really good. Im pretty sure I have the first gen of the TBM flywheel though. In the pump im going to be running a 9/15 hooker with the Blowsion Cone, X Metal Trim System, Raider Nozzle. Oh and all going into a 60lbs Carbon BOB hull..

Got it tested and Im at 175psi with my 33cc domes. Not really looking to do the race gas thing again (broke from a thirsty 220psi SXR last year).. Whenever I half flip the ski really seems to want get loaded up either from the water splashing past the proks (milky in the carb body), maybe the dual 49's dont like being upside down? Should I sell the dual 49s and go with a set of 46mms..? From what i have been lurking around Chuck has said the 46mm's work all the way to their XS1000 package, which is as big as I ever plan on going..

I have a set of the stock single FA with the thrust innovations manifold coming so hopefully that helps with the water indigestion. But right now it stinks that I have to either ride till the ski clears out or remove the proks, wipe and ride again. Tough to pull when you only have 2 min to compete!

Oh and I do have the first gen TBM flywheel. Pump setup feels good 10/16 hook with the Blowsion Hub.

Any thoughts?
