What's a 2006 Suzuki RM-Z250 worth?

Supposedly has a brand new motor and a bunch of parts. I have no interest in it but someone wants to trade me it for a blaster I have for sale at $1500. Worthy trade? Would the bike be an easy sell at $1500?? KBB shows retail at $3065 and trade-in at $2085. Is that realistic???

If its in decent shape it should bring $2000 pretty easily, possibily more. I sold my 2006 KX250f for $2600 a week ago, but it was in very nice shape with a fresh top end, suspension, etc.

Post up some pics if you can. Do a valve check and leak down check. Put the bike on a center stand and check for wheel bearing play, suspension linkage bearings, head set etc. Pull the seat and make sure the air filter is clean.

Not necessarily, someone is offering me a trade for a ski a want $1500 for. Just a little leery because I know jack about dirt bikes but figured I may be able to come out ahead depending on what this thing is worth...

He wanted some cash too and I really wasn't interested in investing more into the deal in hopes of making a bigger profit. The blaster has since sold to someone else so I am go to go!
