Nice setup to throw together in such a short time. Got money to get rid of?

To answer your question as to what's next....RIDING! And building skills. It will take you a while to get used to that boat, so have fun. Don't blow any more money on it.

What?

Higher compression, and race gas. Total Loss ignition. How much do you want to spend?
Seriously, don't spend money on it. Use what you got.

Sounds like you have a pretty serious boat there. Look for a Lamey cylinder if you want more power. Depends on what you want to do with the boat.

Motor-DONE!

If you have another 700-1000 to blow I would get the -2 handle pole. Id go with X-metal.

I wouldn't blow money on an AM pole. The stocker is fine for most, and easy to cut.

You cant compare that motor to a stocker:lightning: If you cant feel a huge difference something is way wrong. :banghead:

Do a compression check.

My budy has a limited Sj with drypipe, and still has awsome punch for freestyle with 135lb compression, yes it needs bored bad. You dont want to have all your power right off idle, when doing freestyle you are moving usually 8-20mph that is were you want the power to come on strong, but that motor should pull like a raped ape everywhere!

That ski should SCAT!

Something is wrong if that ski does'nt rip. You may get used to it but it should still be a ripper!

It probably needs tuned and maybe the carbs need cleaned. A compression check is a must if you think it's under powered. You can get a $20 comp checker just to see if the cylinders are in the same ball park. Don't trust it's readings though but trust it to tell you the cylinders are at least within 5lbs. of each other.

If you have a ski with that many mods you may want to learn how to work on it yourself instead of taking it to the dealer. There are a lot of people here that can tell you what you need to know.

^^^^^^forsure, they are actualy pretty easy once you get into them, unless you have corruded bolts, then it sucks. The motors are freggin simple as they come. Now jetting is best left for someone with experience, and I dont mean the local dumb ars at the shop down the road, but someone who is very fimilair with the 701, and jetting dual carbs. There are alot of those guys out there. Im sure someone cool will help you out with it, just get a case of beer before hand.

bla bla bla........ just buy a damn compression guage, they are nice to have.
