I don't have room for a standard waterbox on my ski, (chopped up FX1) so I purchased this.
I know it's ridiculously small, but for right now it's what I have to work with. I'm planning on mounting it on the side near the carb, heading towards the back. I might (might) dump the exhaust out the side as far back as I can, but I'll run it out the back first before I commit.
But here's my question. How do I make it most effective?
I was thinking that if I have a up and down bend between the stinger and the WB to stop water from pushing back up into the engine, and then mount the WB so the exit was slightly higher than the inlet, gravity would hold a small amount of water in there that would help quiet the exhaust.
The only thing I'm not 100% sure of is the function of the port. I assume that you add a water inlet, but where does that come from? Does it need to be metered in any way?
Anyone have any insight on my situation?
