WARNING:aargh4: We had alot of people that were used to riding on sand that had rocks in their pumps and broke intake grates etc etc....

When you are going out to ride.....This is a VERY ROCKY part of Lake Erie
:deal:

1. Push your ski in up to your waist (at least).
2. Shake your ski around to make sure there are no rocks in your pump.
3. Ride in water at least 3 feet deep!

When coming in......

1. Stop where the water is at least waist deep.
2. Pull ski into the beach with engine off.

Yeah and if you dont beach launch its real shallow at pt breeze launch and all points on the lake. Thats why the surf jacks up so fast. Lol. Seriously the beach has many small stones again this year. Normally sandy but dont drive onto beach full of rocks. We all shut off short of beach as the sand bars ten to twenty feet out are only inches deep any way but all sand

Good post DJ. While were on the subject, lets talk safety. While looking out at the water there will be a town park swimming area, please stay clear of that area because there will be children swimming in it. Also while looking out at the water to your left you will see a point. It gets very shallow near the point and all along shore on that left side. It all shall and old cement piers that are just under the waters surface. Please do not fly into shore or drive fast close to shore or around the local boaters. Respect everyone who is anchored. Also please dont drink and drive. There will be plenty of time for that fri and sat nite when the sun goes down Ha Ha. Also watch out for yourself out there. Its gonna be a nice weekend so there will be regular boats coming in from all directions, Keep your head on a swivel at all times. Also if you see me on the white Ultra 150 out there flagging you down, that usually means we spotted the coast guard, border patrol, or sheriff on the horizen. Simply follow me back in and beach it. They tend to leave us alone. All in all be safe, look out for each other, and have a killer time!
