i have a superset that i just bought that has a pretty bed hesitation in the bottom end. i know this is very vague but can someone give me a bit of a tutorial on where i should start.

Turn the L screw out 1/4 turn. If it gets better keep turning it out until it gets worse then turn it back. Read this for more info:
