um, i guess both

well....the barrel ending is what you need (at least at the lever end) to connect it to the lever. as far as the bolt...i'd say its probably a standard sized bolt and will fit into the lever. why don't you just go to the bike store and buy a break lever for an 1/8 of the price?? yes it won't be all glamourous but being that it looks like you're putting together a CATS system WHO CARES!!!!
