I may be going to total loss here soon and want to eliminate as many switches as possible.
I talked to MSD and they told it is safe to kill the ignition by cutting power to the violet wire. It is not required that you use the pink wire to ground the system out. I really like the idea of only having to momentarily touch the kill swith to stop the motor. I also like the idea of energizing the MSD simotaniously with the start button.
I drew up a ghetto schematic of what I think would work, let me know if you see any reason this would not work.
I would be using waterproof relays of course, maybe even "custom" potted.
