just a word of caution. I wasn't using a torque wrench on mine and my manifold came loose in daytona keeping me from riding for a day. Really sucked, being down there and not riding. make sure they are tight if not using a Torque Wrench

that's crazy. must be an isolated incident. I seriously tightened mine down crazy tight and maybe i will be sorry but i know i am over 38ft/lbs...i really leaned into putting them back on.

Have fun finding them! There are an odd size for sure. I ended up buying SS bolts with a long shank and threading them on a lathe.

One of my headpipe-to-manifold bolts on my B-pipe was a wrong thread (fine vs. coarse thread) and I went to my local ACE hardware and picked up the proper bolt - in fact it looks like it was made at the exact same factory.

do the 28 for sure. 38 is way too tight for that small of a bolt that is going into aluminum. IMO. I will be checking mine frequently.

im just using three of the cylinder base bolts on my b pipe headpipe to manifold connection.....since i am running a gridled head i dont need the cylinder bolts.

Also i heard fp's bolts rust so id rather stick with the factory bolts since i only ride salt
