hi again i ask for your wisdom:1zhelp:.. how i plot an timing curve...

i have tryed for weeks now to figure it out but it jus not opening to me..

previous owner said that the basic advance in stator is around 25
does that mean static timing?

http://www.msdignition.com/instructions/Products/42351.pdf?terms=42351

switch 2 s1=off s2=off s3=off s4=off s5=on s6=on s7=off s8=on

switch 1 s1=off s2=off s3=on s4=on s5=off s6=off s7=off s8=on

where did you get 17 7200 is that the answer that i can say when someone is asking my timing curve..? im so confused right now..i am trying to chance my gasoline to pump gas and people ask me squish band timing curve etc i have everythiong else but the timing... i dont understand in what form timing curve i need.. :):):):) this is so hard to think in english.. i dont express my self good enough so you guys could understand what i need to know. =(...

i had this e-mail from my jetski previous owner.. he says this sorry for translate

timing basic

the aiming spot for timing is 7500rpm/15degrees
basic in stator is 25
mid range advance must drop after 4000-4500rpm

i dont know how to aply the information...but i really want to uderstand whole idea.. not just that i can tell it to some one..

again sorry dum guestions but its not easy to find information when you dont know the key word=)

thank you

I forgot!
I run 32 initial or static timing
Start backing my timing at 5500
Rev limit 8500
17 at 7200
170-180 compression with 93 octane.
Stock stroke.
I have gathered information over the years and have been running this curve on my motors.

The curve will start at 25 until you hit 4500 rpm. Then your shooting to hit 15 degrees by the time you rev up to 7500 rpm. The calculator will tell you how many degrees you need to pull out at your rev limit rpm so that you are hitting 15 degrees at 7500 rpm
