Time to get a freestyle ski

I've had a lot of fun learning to ride in the past year on my 650 SJ, and now its time to step it up. I'm on the fence between getting an FX-1 or a RN - what do you guys think?

I'll spend most of my riding time on Minnetonka (a lake with rather large boats) and no time in surf. #1 priority is jumping

I agree, RN s the way to go. Parts plentiful is argument enough for me.

I never have really figured out the FX-1 thing - can't get past that god-awful looking pole mount.....I guess I just won't understand unless I get on one someday....

why shell out $ on a new ski when you already have an SN?

Just pick up a 701 (or bigger) and put that in, keeping the 650 as a backup or sell for $.

the 650 is a stock low hour machine that would be nice and reliable if a friend bought it. No point in tearing it apart.

It sounds like I should look for a RN

I would choose FX-1 over any RN superjet or SXR any day of the week. I dont think I would ride my ski everyday if I didnt have an fx-1. Superjets get boring way to quick!

I am selling:

Yamaha Superjet 701 with many aftermarket parts and new OEM parts for $2300
and
Yamaha FX-1 that has intake grate for $2600

both are veary near mint and run perfect!!
