This may be stupid. What F/A's to get?

I will be getting my cylinder and BlackJacks back from Art next week. Since they are aftermarket carburetors I will need to run open element type F/A's on them.

What are the best choices? I am pretty set on Tau-Ceti's but what style, does it make a difference? Seems like I see alot of the short 2" cylindrical type. The cone shape would seem to invite water intrusion. Am I correct in thinking this?

His line is busy, I am pretty sure ther is no way to run stock withought fabbing etc. I know I have seen addapters but they were like $60.00 a piece and would scratch up my air bells.

Virgin sells some nice adaptors.
