What version of MIE? Look in help, about. MIE 6, 7, or 8.

My suggestion is to go into tools, internet options, click the programs tab and there's a button to set everything to factory defaults. Don't bother setting your start page back to default. I've had that solve issues with MIE in the past.

I appreciate your efforts to help. In the internet options advanced tab, a box was checked that reads, "close unused folders in history and favorites"
Could that possibly be the issue? I un-checked it and restarted MIE. (fishing)
The button to reset factory defaults is not selectable.

No, that could not be the cause.

The button to reset factory default is a button. U should be able to click it.

Well, at home I'm back to normal....don't know why, but it's fine.
At work it doesn't matter that much. I only have the office on Sunday & Monday.
But I appreciate eveybody's help.
Maybe I should of had kids! They could teach me this stuff. Oh well, WAY TOO LATE now for that!
