I used Chromasystem when i painted my 05' SXR,i mismatched the green though i went a little lighter than the pole color. That paint is great, use the Nasson Finish for Clear, you wont be disappointed. Theres pics of my SXR after paint under ski buildups forum under Summer 08' 05 SXR Build. I dont have any left over but def. a good choice in paint

Nope, its quite a f'd up color and is opaque with a candy sparkle to it....difficult to find. (or basically create)

it's not that unique if you have any of your old stuff take it to finish masters or something and let the computer try to match it

I will save a ton of money if i can find it as a dupont color (I think I did). He allready has the dupont clear,white,black,reducer etc...

The problem is that it is a transluscent candy special order paint...with metal flake...
I am working on it....see if you can find someone that'll sell me a quart of this stuff so we can get this bad boy sprayed and done!

Korn you should check with a ppg rep. I talked with northern indiana rep the other day about stock bike colors and he said ppg actually has the codes for all the jap bikes. Maybe since they have the bike codes they'll have ski codes.
guys down the road will scan anything and mix it for anyone. got all most a quart
its a car quest store that sells paint.

if you can find a good orielly auto they can mix paint if theres a good paint guy on the staff they can color match almost anything. ask for the nason line of dupont its a lot cheaper and very good paint.

then tweak it by eye if it is not great from the computers perspective
