So my question is can I take two cylinders both with one bad sleeve and take the good sleeve out one and put it in the other cylinder? I know I will have to make them come up to the same size bore but other then that are their any issues or problems I might run into?

So your saying that there is no issues in it? Like the sleeves warping or anything? I have seen the threads on how to do it just want to make sure the sleeves aren't going to be messed up. Or if only the right can go in the right side and the left in the left. I plan on porting it after its switched.

So I can do the swap as long as I just bore up the cylinders? I had planned on doing that but is there an amount I need to bore up or the machine shop will know when they are in spec?

The sleeves do not always warp, actually they seldom warp, they may need to be honed to straighten them out , also be very careful when doing this that the sleeve is seated all the way into the cylinder block, if it isn't it will drop later and create big problems down the road, you don't always have to deck the top of the cylinder but sometimes that is necessary also , lots of factors here that can cause this not to work if not done properly.

I thow cyl. in the oven at 325-350 for about 15 minutes, have your good sleeve in the freezer ready to go. Pull it out of the oven and do your work as quickly as you can, you maybe have 20 seconds max. Bolt head on to hold down while cooling. Line up the ports good!

I know someone that uses their BBQ grill because wifey wont let him use the oven.. haha
