I just left So Florida yesterday morning. This is not a real storm, there will be no damage, it's all just media hype as usual!!:slap:

Saturday: Winds SW at 14mph
Sunday: Winds NW at 13mph

I don't know much about the conditions on Lake Michigan...but considering this is on the East Coast, it looks like killer waves! arty:

i've had the best luck with

good old NWS

the point forecast seems to take into account shore orientation into the wave forecast.

on the optimistic side, a SW wind is the most favorable wind direction where we will be riding. waves have the most lengthy area to build up and they come in nearly perpendicular to the shore.
